Beverley Park Composite Deck

Commercial-grade decking built to handle heavy use at a golf club.

Start Your Project

Brief

Beverley Park Golf Club needed their deck replaced with something that could handle the demands of a commercial venue. Constant foot traffic, full weather exposure, and daily public use year-round.

Challenge

A commercial deck replacement has different requirements to a residential build. The materials have to handle heavier use, the finish needs to be consistent across a larger area, and the build has to work around the club's operating schedule.

Key considerations included:

  • Selecting a decking material built for heavy commercial foot traffic
  • Working around the existing steel frame structure and roof
  • Minimising disruption to the golf club's daily operations
  • Delivering a finish that holds up long-term with minimal maintenance

Solution

We installed Eva-Last Infinity Tiger Cove composite decking across the deck area. The dark composite boards sit under the existing steel-framed roof structure. Composite was the right choice for this application. It doesn't splinter, warp, or need regular oiling, and it handles heavy foot traffic without showing wear the way natural timber does.

The existing subframe was assessed and reinforced where needed before the new decking went down.

Result

The club has a deck that looks the part and will hold up to years of daily use without ongoing maintenance costs. The dark composite boards suit the steel structure above, and the finished surface is even and consistent across the full area.
