Kogarah Bathroom Renovation

A full bathroom renovation for a happy Kogarah homeowner.

Start Your Project

Brief

A full bathroom renovation. The existing bathroom was functional but dated, and the homeowner wanted it brought up to a modern standard with a fresh layout and updated finishes.

Challenge

A single-bathroom renovation with a clear scope. The room had to be fully stripped, waterproofed, tiled, and fitted out in the right sequence with trades coordinated across each stage.

Key considerations included:

  • Full strip-out and disposal of existing fixtures and finishes
  • Waterproofing to Australian standards before any tiling
  • Working with the homeowner's tile and fixture selections to deliver the look they were after
  • Coordinating plumbing and electrical around the tiling schedule

Solution

We stripped the room back and rebuilt it from scratch. The walls were finished with white herringbone tiles, giving the bathroom a clean, textured look without being busy. Patterned floor tiles add detail at ground level and contrast with the simpler wall treatment.

A wall-mounted vanity keeps the floor clear and makes the room feel bigger. Recessed niche shelving was built into the shower wall for storage without taking up space. A frameless glass shower screen and matte rain shower head complete the wet area.

Plumbing was handled by Pipeworks Plumbing Projects and electrical by CHM Electrical.

Result

A clean, modern bathroom that makes smart use of the space. The herringbone wall tiles and patterned floor give the room character without overdoing it, and the wall-mounted vanity with the recessed niche keeps everything functional and uncluttered. Another happy customer.
